[Watch] ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ trailer 2

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom and this second trailer reveals a lot more of his nemesis Carnage.

Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage got its second official trailer today and it features a whole lot more Woody Harrelson as Carnage. There’s still no official release date set yet, but the trailer does confirm the film will appear only in theaters this fall. Watch the first official trailer to catch up on what we’ve seen so far.

Wait, what’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage about?

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom. Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage. The screenplay is by Kelly Marcel from a story by Tom Hardy and Kelly Marcel. Sony’s Venom: Let There Be Carnage opens only in theaters on September 24 in the US, September 15 in the UK and September 16 in Australia.

Check out the trailer below.

One interesting detail revealed in the trailer is how it appears Harrelson’s Carnage is actually part of his body. In a quick shot to open the trailer, you can see his flesh literally turn into the Symbiote. Here’s a screengrab to see what I mean:
