Check out the launch trailer for Mortal Shell: The Virtuous Cycle

Mortal Shell’s DLC will be free for five days after it launches.

Cold Symmetry has shared a new trailer for their upcoming Mortal Shell DLC, The Virtuous Cycle. The DLC will include a new roguelike game mode, a new shell, new shades for shells, over 100 new abilities, and a new axe/katana weapon. The best part? If you act fast, the DLC content will be free.

The Virtuous Cycle launches August 18 and will be free for the first five days it’s available in celebration of the game’s first anniversary. After August 23rd, it’ll retail for only $8.

The Virtuous Cycle Expansion has been packed with content that fans of the genre will love, and provides a new unique way to experience the rich Mortal Shell universe,” Kiron Ramdewar, Head of PC and Console at Playstack, said. “We can’t wait to see how new and old players will tackle our new roguelike mode when venturing into the depths of Fallgrim.”

Mortal Shell is a soulslike RPG developed by Cold Symmetry. It is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Epic Games Store. On Wednesday it’ll also be made available via Steam. Watch the new trailer below.
