On Monday, Hasbro finally revealed the comic/classic Marvel Legends Doctor Strange figure that we’ve all been waiting for. In addition to a fantastic sculpt/portrait, it will come with some great effect/weapon accessories, alternate hands, and two alternate heads (once of which will allow you to turn Stephen Strange into the dreaded Necromancer).
Pretty sweet, right? I mean, just look at that beautiful old school costume.
Well don’t get excited just yet. This figure will be a eBay Walmart exclusive, which might as well be the astral plane when it comes to finding anything toy-related. It will also carry a slightly higher price point ($26.49), but at least that feels justified with all the great accessories.
Of course, it probably doesn’t matter since most of us won’t be able to find or purchase this figure, anyway.
If you don’t mind getting your hopes up only to have them crushed, then preorders are expected to open next month around the same time as PulseCon 2021 (October 22-23). It is expected to arrive in stores (HA!) in Spring of 2022.
