Marvel Legends will be celebrating its 20th anniversary next year, but Hasbro’s getting the party started early with new figures to commemorate the popular toy line. On Monday, they unveiled a new Captain America in his classic costume.

Look, I know we all have way too many Captain Americas in our collections right now. Still, it’s hard to deny what a fantastic looking figure this is.
In addition to the great portrait/sculpt, Cap will come with an alternate unmasked head (along with a “mask down” accessory) and two alternate hands. The shield will also have three ports where you can plug in the bullet, swipe/hit, or plasma effects that come with the figure. As if all that weren’t cool enough, there’s a diorama piece that can be clipped into a (greatly appreciated) Marvel Legends figure stand.
All those extras won’t be cheap, though. The figure will retail for $31.49 and is a fan channel (Big Bad Toy Store, Dorkside Toys, etc.) exclusive. We don’t have any prerelease information yet, but it’s expected to be available in Spring 2022.
There also aren’t any promotional figures beyond what’s posted here. Thankfully, toy reviewer Unparalleled Universe got exclusive access to the figure and made the most of it with an excellent/thorough video. Give it a watch below!
