You may remember a little over a year ago when a new Star Wars toy line from Diamond Select burst onto the scene via its first figure (Boba Fett) accidentally being put on shelves before its release date. The 7″ scale Star Wars Select line followed that up with some official photos only to have their next release (Darth Maul) hit shelves early, as well.
Well, it appears this pattern is repeating itself once again.
On Sunday, Instagram toy collector/scooper KyloCollector received a photo from one of his followers of what appears to be an unannounced deluxe Stormtrooper set.
According to the person who captured the image/figure (@imperialmike88), the accessory-packed stormtrooper was spotted in the Disney Springs shopping area at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
The figure costs $34.99 and was labeled as being exclusive to Disney Parks, although we can likely assume it will go up for sale online at some point. Also, if you look closely in the bottom right-hand corner of the image, you can see that it comes with a mouse droid.
As cool as this product is, an army builder in an odd scale is going to be a tough sell no matter how good it is. Perhaps some official promo image in the near future will be enough to get folks to buy it.
