On Sunday evening, Sony officially revealed the new poster for Spider-Man: No Way Home, which is set to release December 17, 2022.

For those of us who’ve been obsessively following every leak and bit of news about this film (*sheepishly raises hand*), there’s not much to see except a cool looking promo image. A few of the things hinted at in the trailer shown back in August have finally been confirmed.
If you look in the top righthand corner (just under Doctor Octopus’ arm), you can see William Dafoe’s Green Goblin gliding in for an attack. His involvement was already assumed by a lot of folks due to casting rumors and the pumpkin bomb/laugh from the trailer, but the visual confirmation makes his it feel a lot more solid.
You can also see sand and yellow lightning in the background, which adds yet another strong hint that Thomas Hayden Church’s Sandman and an altered/alternate version of Jamie Foxx’s Electro will be appearing. It’s odd that there’s nothing to represent Rhys Ifans’ Lizard, but his involvement has been pretty much confirmed, as well.
Now we just need a poster/image hinting at the appearance of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield to get everyone riled up.
