Official ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ trailer reveals plenty of rogues

Watch the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ official trailer further sending Peter Parker into the multiverse.

The much anticipated official Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer has been released and it’s filled with plenty of surprises, shocks, and heart too.

It has been nearly three months since we got our first glimpse at the third movie starring Tom Holland as Spider-Man, watch the teaser here, and since then there has been much speculation on what might be revealed. That includes the poster, which highlighted a certain green Spider-Man villain. Now we can put some of that speculation to rest.

Watch the trailer below.

Read the official Spider-Man: No Way Home synopsis:

With Spider-Man’s identity now revealed, our friendly neighborhood web-slinger is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life as Peter Parker from the high stakes of being a superhero. When Peter asks for help from Doctor Strange, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.

As the trailer further confirms, this film is playing with the multiverse and is literally pulling Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock out of the classic Sam Raimi Spider-Man 2 and dropping him into the new Marvel/Sony universe. Somewhat poignantly, Raimi is also directing Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which is set to release in March 2022. One can assume the events of this Spider-Man film will play heavily into the events of the second Doctor Strange film.

The film is set to debut in the United States on December 17, 2021.

If you’d like to experience the trailer in a different way, the official Spider-Man Twitter released a video of Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon watching it.
