Disney+ ‘Moon Knight’ to unveil first official trailer on Monday

The Cardinals vs. Rams NFL wildcard game just got a lot more interesting.

On Saturday, Disney+ announced that they’ll be releasing the first full trailer for their upcoming Moon Knight series during Monday’s NFL Wildcard playoff game.

The game starts at 8:15 PM EST, although the trailer will very likely be posted simultaneously online for those who don’t want to watch the Arizona Cardinals and the Los Angeles Rams slug it out. Since I’m an Atlanta Falcons fan whose pro football spirit was official broken in Super Bowl LI, that’s how I’ll be checking it out.

As is the custom these days, the trailer announcement was accompanied by a teaser for the trailer. Thankfully, it also included some new footage we didn’t get from the first one back in November, including our best look at Moon Knight’s costume.

Other interesting tidbits include:

  • A shot of the pyramids, further confirming that the series will feature Marc Spector‘s connection to Khonshu.
  • Our first look at whoever Ethan Hawke ends up playing.
  • Moon Knight’s costume ethereally wrapping around him.
  • Confirmation that whoever he’s beating up (or thinks he’s beating up) in that shot from the first teaser is definitely not human.

Let’s hope that in addition even more great footage, Monday’s trailer finally gives us a firm release date for the series.
