‘Dark Knights of Steel: The Gathering Storm’ reprints first three issues

DC Comics reprinting first three issues of ‘Dark Knights of Steel’ for March 2022 release.

DC Comics has announced if you missed Dark Knights of Steel #1-3, fear not, as the three issues will be collected in Dark Knights of Steel: The Gathering Storm. Available in comic shops on March 1st, fans can catch up on the 12-issue maxiseries in a unique way, at least for American comics. Written by Tom Taylor with art by Yasmine Putri, it’s a cool way to read the series in reprinted form.

“I couldn’t be happier to hear Dark Knights of Steel is going back to print and so many people are embracing our new DC Universe,” said Taylor. “There are so many twists and turns to come for the El Kingdom, the Bat Prince, the Kingdom of Storms, Supergirl, and the Amazons in our epic. The prophecy will come to pass.”

“It’s hard to overstate my gratitude for all the support Dark Knights of Steel have been getting so far,” said Putri. “Stick around and stay tuned, more adventures are coming soon.”

Fans and comic shops have till January 30th to order the special 3-issue collection. Dark Knights of Steel #4 and #5 will be available at local comic book shops on February 1 and March 1.

Don’t miss our reviews of Dark Knights of Steel #1, issue #2, and issue #3.

The only downside of a collection like this is you miss out on insanely cool variant covers like Tyler Kirkham’s Joker cover for Dark Knights of Steel #1.
