Last night marked the official launch party event for Moon Knight. Launching everywhere on Disney+ March 30th, the event featured stars Oscar Isaac, Ethan Hawke, and May Calamawy along with cast members Antonia Salib, Ann Akinjirin, David Ganly, Sofia Danu, Karim El Hakim, Fernanda Andrade, Shaun Scott, Rey Lucas, and Díana Bermudez.

Joining the actors were directors Mohamed Diab, Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, head writer Jeremy Slater, and executive producers Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum and Grant Curtis. Other folks spotted on the red carpet include Flash Thompson himself Tony Revolori from the Spider-Man films. Likely he was attending for fun, but could he make an appearance in the show?

Wait, what’s Moon Knight about?

The story follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc’s enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt.

It also appears comics creator Declan Shalvey attended the event. He’s notably created many of the looks Moon Knight has in the show.

Disney has been pushing Moon Knight hard of late, with even a Super Bowl ad that featured some rather cool stuff.
