Marvel Comics is honoring Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with variant covers all by artist Dike Ruan. The AAPI covers will feature some of Marvel’s most prominent Asian and AAPI characters. The covers will be found on series for Shang-Chi, Black Panther, Moon Knight, Amazing Spider-Man, Immorrtal X-Men, and X-Men Red. Marvel did something similar last year with Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage covers by InHyuk Lee.
To wet our whistles, Marvel has shared six of the covers featuring characters like Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Sunfire, Wong, Wave, and Mondo.

New York, NY— March 31, 2022 — This May, Marvel Comics is proud to honor Asian Pacific American Heritage Month with variant covers highlighting some of its most prominent Asian and AAPI characters! The AAPI HERITAGE VARIANT COVERS will be drawn by acclaimed artist Dike Ruan, known for his incredible work on SHANG-CHI, and colored by artist Neeraj Menon. Adorning the covers of Marvel’s hottest ongoing series, these stunning pieces are bursting with energy, showcasing Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, and more iconic heroes using their extraordinary gifts in stunning circular portraits!
