On Wednesday, Diamond Select released yet another figure for their 7″ scale Star Wars action figure line. It’s been a while since we saw the Deluxe Stormtrooper and even longer since Boba Fett and Darth Maul were revealed.
This time, the good guys finally crack the lineup with Chewbacca. (Boba Fett might be an antihero now, but the version Diamond Select released was based on his appearance in the Original Trilogy. Don’t @ me).
Since the Diamond Select Star Wars line is 7″ scale, this Chewbacca figure clocks in at a towering 8″. That might make him look a bit too large next to your Black Series collection unless you like to artistically mix and match different scales.
Chewbacca is outfitted with the bandolier he wore during the three film trilogies along with his bowcaster. He also comes with his rifle and double-strapped bandolier from Solo: A Star Wars Story.
The paint apps appear to be good, but the hinges on the legs are hard to overlook — especially when the figure retails for $34.99. If you still want one, then it’s available now exclusively at ShopDisney.com.
