HBO’s much anticipated House of the Dragon is set for release on August 21st and to prepare viewers they’ve released character posters. Posted via Twitter, the posters are simple but offer some insight into who each of these characters are along with their names. HBO is clearly going all-out with this new show as they even acquired special emojis for each character!
Of the character posters there are quite a few Targaryen’s which is of course expected since they were the keepers of dragons. Likely many of them will meet their demise in this show. The tagline for the show tells us “History does not remember blood. It remembers names.” I suppose that’s true since Daenerys rose up in Game of Thrones and everyone knew her name!
HBO has also released a new teaser ahead of its House of the Dragon as well.
