There were a pair of fun Texas themed challenges this week on Top Chef. The contestants took a field trip to the Houston Farmers Market for the quickfire. With plenty of Mexican produce available, they could shop for ingredients and create their own take on the Tex-Mex classic, fajitas.
Afterwards, they were tasked to make food that could be out of this world. More specifically, to create a dish for astronauts. Because it would be eaten in the microgravity of space, there were some restrictions including no free-flowing liquids and nothing that could easily make crumbs.
There was some movement in the Power Rankings and we saw the return of another chef with the conclusion of Last Chance Kitchen.
New episodes of Top Chef season 19 air Thursday nights on Bravo.
