A brand new trailer released today from Star Wars Celebration 2022 and it’s a big one. Back in January, EA and Lucasfilm Games teased several upcoming Star Wars projects most notably a Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. Now a fresh teaser for the highly anticipated follow-up has just dropped online. The trailer gives us a glimpse into where Cal Kestis is and hints at the threats he’s up against before revealing a release window of 2023.
Watch the trailer below.
Jedi: Survivor will pick up 5 years after the events of Fallen Order and center around Cal Kestis. The ominous voice of an inquisitor narrates the trailer and seems to question Cal’s leadership. We also see the Stinger Mantis wrecked, a flashback to Cal’s climactic battle with Darth Vader, and an unknown figure recovering in a bacta tank. This teaser does a good job of drumming up excitement while also not revealing too much about the plot.
Jedi: Fallen Order quickly became a huge success for its gameplay, lore, and fresh story. While the gameplay was challenging and not for everyone, it made for a welcome addition to the Star Wars game library.
If you haven’t played Fallen Order there’s still time to get into it before Jedi: Survivor drops next year. For more game info, check out this interview with the game director.
