At Star Wars Celebration 2022 this weekend, John Favreau and Dave Filoni used the end of their Mandalorian panel to unveil the first teaser for the upcoming Ahsoka series. They were also joined by Rosario Dawson (accompanied by Chopper) and Natasha Liu Bordizzo, confirming earlier reports that she’ll be portraying Sabine Wren.

Disney’s copyright snipers have successfully eliminated most of the bootleg footage of the trailer, but reports from attendees and multiple outlets confirmed that Ghost captain Hera Syndulla is glimpsed from behind at one point (maybe Ezra Bridger at point, too).
There’s also a shot of Sabine looking at a mural of the entire Ghost crew drawn in the same animated style as Star Wars: Rebels. In addition to this confirming what her art style looks like in live-action, it likely means that Ahsoka will be a direct continuation of how Rebels ended back in 2018.
Lest you think this plotline was somehow quarantined to animated Star Wars series, Ahsoka was actively looking for Thrawn during her live-action debut Season 2 of The Mandalorian. Now it appears she’ll be joined in live-action by the Ghost Crew when Ahsoka debuts in 2023.
