Skybound has announced they’re publishing five-issue series following the horror classic Creepshow. Similar to the show, the comics series is an anthology that will feature creators like Chris Burnham (Die!Die!Die!), Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series), Steve Langford (Creepshow TV series), Josh Malerman (Creepshow TV series, Bird Box), David & Maria Lapham (Stray Bullets), Steve Foxe (Razorblades: The Horror Magazine), John McCrea (Hitman), and Kelley Jones (Batman, The Sandman), with many more yet to be announced. The first issue drops into comics shops on September 21st.

Brian Witten is overseeing on behalf of Nictorero’s Monster Agency Productions. Creepshow is not only an iconic movie but it’s also had a resurgence on Shudder with multiple seasons. It’s a solid show. Just look at our many reviews of it here at AIPT to see!

LOS ANGELES 06/01/2022 — Today Skybound announced Creepshow, a new star-studded five-issue comic book anthology based on the hit Shudder TV series and advancing the worldwide phenomenon that began with George A. Romero and Stephen King’s iconic 1982 film and has continued with the Greg Nicotero-helmed genre anthology series entering its fourth season on Shudder and produced by Cartel Entertainment. The new comic book will launch September 21, 2022 and was brokered by Striker Entertainment, a global licensing IP accelerator.

Each issue of the five-part anthology will feature different creative teams from the worlds of comics, film, television, and beyond. Every uniquely horrifying standalone story is guaranteed to SCARE YOU TO DEATH.

The superstar creative roster behind Creepshow includes Chris Burnham (Die!Die!Die!), Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series), Steve Langford (Creepshow TV series), Josh Malerman (Creepshow TV series, Bird Box), David & Maria Lapham (Stray Bullets), Steve Foxe (Razorblades: The Horror Magazine), John McCrea (Hitman), and Kelley Jones (Batman, The Sandman), with many more to be announced.
