We’re drawing near the ‘Black Friday’ of summer deals, Amazon Prime Day. This year, on top of the annual sale they have announced a huge slate of free PC games. As part of their Amazon Gaming program, well over 30 games will be available starting June 21. These range from indie games to standard AAA releases as well.
According to the Prime Gaming blog post, the higher profile releases will be free upon Prime Day proper. These games include:
- Mass Effect Legendary Edition
- GRID Legends
- Need for Speed Heat
- Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy
- Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
- Star Wars Republic Commando

On top of this great assortment of free games, Prime Gaming members will also have the opportunity to claim upwards of 25 indie games prior to Prime Day, these include:

There’s something for everyone across this wealth of games being given away. From the blog post, it seems the games will have a staggered release schedule across the next month with the indie games being released first starting June 21. Amazon Prime Day will span from July 12-13 this year so make sure you’re checking back frequently between now and then to pick up some great games.
