Netflix-era Daredevil and Kingpin to appear in upcoming ‘Echo’ series for Disney+

If the rumors are true, then both characters will play a major role in the series.

On Thursday, Aaron Couch and Borys Kit of The Hollywood Reporter revealed some news that MCU fans have been anxiously waiting for: According to their report, Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will reprise their roles as Daredevil and Kingpin for Marvel’s upcoming Echo series.

This report was preceded by another from James Clement of The Weekly Planet podcast during their ‘Hot Scoop or a Shot of Poop‘ segment. According to Clement, Daredevil will appear in three episodes wearing a red and black suit and looking for Jessica Jones. Kingpin will appear in four episodes and be gearing up for a run to be New York’s mayor. He’ll also be rocking an eyepatch following his encounter with Echo (Alaqua Cox) in the final episode of Hawkeye.

That last part definitely tracks with Mike Colter (Luke Cage) posting a picture of him and Krysten Ritter (Jessica Jones) back in May, which strongly hinted at their imminent return to the MCU.

As for the Daredevil/Kingpin news, we already knew Marvel Studios had plans to incorporate both characters from the popular (and awesome) Daredevil Netflix series. Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation from Disney or Marvel, a report from The Hollywood Reporter means you can count on them showing up Echo next year.
