The official page for San Diego Comic-Con 2022 has revealed a panel that’s sure to generate a lot of buzz–especially if you grew up in the 90s. On Friday, July 21 (11:45-1:15), Marvel Studios will give us our first look at a number of upcoming animated projects, including X-Men ’97.
In case you somehow forgot, it was announced last year that the original X-Men: The Animated Series would be getting a revival on Disney+ in 2023. In addition to picking up where the show left off in 1997, much of the original voice cast will be returning, as well.
As if that weren’t cool enough, the panel will also give us our first glimpse at the animated Marvel Zombies series and the second season of What If…? If the Marvel Zombies series is anything like the zombie episode from What If…? Season 1, then we should be in for a real treat.
The panel will be hosted by Brad Winderbaum (Marvel Studios head of streaming, television, and animation) and Ryan Meinerding (head of visual development).
There will also be some special guests and surprise announcements, making this a must-see panel if you’re attending San Diego Comic-Con this year.
