Last month, we received our first look at Tales of the Walking Dead. It is the next show taking place in The Walking Dead Universe. AMC has recently released a teaser trailer for the upcoming anthology series.
For the most part, the characters seen are entirely new and they are portrayed by actors including Olivia Munn, Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Anthony Edwards, Poppy Liu, Jillian Bell, Loan Chabanol, Embeth Davidtz, Jessie T. Usher, Daniella Pineda, and Danny Ramirez. One familiar face is Samantha Morton and it looks like we’ll see more of how her character handled the zombie apocalypse before becoming season nine and ten Big Bad, Alpha.
Tales of the Walking Dead will consist of six original one-hour standalone episodes that builds upon the mythology of the world by exploring never before seen corners. It will premiere Sunday, August 14 at 9pm ET/8c on AMC and AMC+, with the first two episodes streaming that same night on AMC+. The following episodes will stream one week early, beginning Sunday, August 21.
