AfterShock Comics releases SDCC 2022 booth signing schedule

AfterShock Comics has released their booth signing schedule for their first-ever booth at San Diego Comic-Con. You can find them at Booth #2715. AfterShock will offer exclusive variants at their booth as well as a “Buy 2/Get 1 Free” offer on the purchase of Aftershock and Seismic Press trade paperbacks or hardcover editions.

“With San Diego Comic-Con back in person and in full force, AfterShock couldn’t be more excited to gather again with friends and fans at the most special pop culture event of the year,” said Mike Marts, AfterShock’s Editor-in-Chief.  “To add to the excitement surrounding this year’s SDCC, we’re returning to the show bigger and better than ever, with lots in store. The entire AfterShock team looks forward to seeing everyone in just a few days with exclusive content and creator signings tailored just for this special occasion.”

  • Frank Tieri (AFTERDARK, PESTILENCE): Friday, 3pm-4pm
  • Rich Douek (THE OCEAN WILL TAKE US): Friday and Saturday, 4pm-5pm
  • Dan Panosian (MANIAC OF NEW YORK): Friday, 5:30pm-6:30pm
  • Ed Brisson (THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH PATRICK TODD): Sunday, 11am-12pm
  • Brian Buccellato (CHICKEN DEVIL): TBD
  • John Layman (THE MAN WHO F#%&ED UP TIME): Thursday and Saturday, 11am-12p

Los Angeles, CA (July 19, 2022)—Celebrating the triumphant return of Comic-Con International to the San Diego Convention Center from July 21-24, AfterShock Comics, the industry’s fastest growing and most ground-breaking independent publisher, will be there in full force for the first time ever at Booth #2715 for four days of cutting-edge content offerings, exclusive variants of top titles, signings from some of the industry’s brightest stars and additional opportunities for friends and fans who prefer to read dangerously.

San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) exclusive variants include WE LIVE: AGE OF THE PALLADIONS #1 Black and WE LIVE: AGE OF THE PALLADIONS #1 White with original covers by series co-creator Inaki Miranda, plus a special convention exclusive edition of THERE’S SOMETHING WRONG WITH PATRICK TODD #1 with cover by Tyler Boss.

AfterShock creators scheduled to appear and sign at Booth #2715 include:

Throughout the duration of SDCC, AfterShock will present a special “Buy 2/Get 1 Free” offer on the purchase of Aftershock and Seismic Press trade paperbacks or hardcover editions. Addtionally, fans who appear at Booth #2715 with an AfterShock t-shirt, proof of t-shirt purchase from the online AfterShock Shop, or cosplaying as their favorite AfterShock character, will receive an additional 10% off on the spot.

With a number of AfterShock Comics titles currently in development as film and television projects (i.e. DEAD DAY at Peacock, A CALCULATED MAN at Hulu, UNDONE BY BLOOD at AMC, and KAIJU SCORE at Sony Pictures), AfterShock Media Executive and Vice President David Sigurani and a panel of experts will provide behind-the-scenes insights and strategies on how writers navigate the transition from page to screen in a special panel entitled Intro to TV Writing – From First Draft to Getting Staffed, on Friday, July 22nd at 10 am in Room 4.

AfterShock will be represented on-site by Editor-in-Chief Mike Marts; Publisher/Chief Creative Officer Joe Pruett; President Lee Kramer; SVP Sales & Marketing Steve Rotterdam; Communications Specialist RuthAnn Thompson; and Senior Retail Sales Development Manager Marc Hammond.
