On Sunday, Hasbro showed off even more upcoming Marvel Legends figures, this time for the MCU. A couple of these were photographed at the SDCC Hasbro booth, but most are all new reveals.
The good news is that they all look great. The bad news is that they all feature plastic-free packaging, aka Fig Swappers’ Delight.
Let’s start off with the figures from Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which will be available for preorder from most major retailers on Monday at 1:00 PM EST.
Until now, the only way to add this figure to your collection was as a Build-A-Figure from the 2017 Black Panther movie wave. Now you can buy a single release of an even better-looking version of the character.
By far our best look at Wakanda Forever‘s main antagonist. The figure also features a pretty good portrait of actor Tenoch Huerta’s likeness.
I wasn’t sold on Nakia’s new look until it dawned on me that this is likely a suit designed for aquatic combat. That helmet also looks pretty sweet.
This version of Everett Ross looks much better than the one released in the two-pack with Killmonger a few years ago.
We already saw this one in the Hasbro booth, but the official promo photos make Wakanda’s secret police look even better.
Black Panther (Comics)
The only comic character from the wave is another figure we’ve already seen. It also looks fantastic.
It’s fine if you don’t know who this is — I didn’t either. Based on what I’ve read, it looks like Attuma will take over the villain role in Wakanda Forever once Namor comes to his senses and turns into an anti-hero.
The MCU She-Hulk figure isn’t available for preorder yet, but it will be part of the Infinite Ultron BAF wave. It also gives us our first look at Jennifer Walter’s superhero costume, which she’ll presumably don at some point during her upcoming series.
