Marvel Comics has got not one but two Captain America books launched after a huge reveal a few months ago featuring Mark Brooks’ cover art, and now they’re teasing a crossover story. The masterminds behind these series include Tochi Onyebuchi, Jackson Lanzing, and Collin Kelly.
In the teaser, see below, Marvel writes:
The secret origin of Steve’s shield, the revenge of White Wolf and Crossbones, and the return of Nomad—but which one? All roads lead to COLD WAR, a new CAPTAIN AMERICA event kicking off in Spring 2023!
The story will take place on October 5th in Captain America: Sentinel of Liberty #5 and October 19th in Captain America: Symbol of Truth #6. As you can see in the teaser, a number of villains are popping up with Crossbones and White Wolf at the center.
