On Friday, Hasbro finally unveiled its long-awaited HasLab campaign centering around Ghost Rider’s 50th anniversary. Dubbed “Engine of Vengeance,” the campaign offers a fantastic-looking Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider figure along with his supernatural (and gorgeously detailed) car.
As you can see, the actual Engine of Vengeance itself will come with multiple parts that can be changed out to go from back and forth between street and hellfire mode.
As if that weren’t cool enough, it’s equipped with 20 LED battery-powered light effects.
Even in street mode, the car looks pretty sweet.
And then you have the Robbie Reyes figure, which is well-accessorized and looks incredible.
Now for the bad news.
The items will set you back $349.99. If you’re not a Hasbro Pulse member, then you’ll also have to pay shipping. While this undoubtedly makes Engine of Vengeance a better value than the HasLab Black Series Rancor (which failed), it still feels a bit overpriced — especially when you compare the item to the wildly successful G.I. Joe Classified Series Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank.
That said, Engine of Vengeance’s value could increase significantly depending on what the stretch goals are. In fact, one has already been revealed in the form of an early bird special. If the campaign reaches its funding goal of 9,000 backers by September 23, every backer will receive an exclusive Marvel Legends Robbie Reyes Human-Form 6-Inch scale figure.
I can’t be the only one who thinks the figure’s chest looks kind of weird, right? Hopefully, Hasbro fixes that before production. In the meantime, they’ve teased one of the reveals which I will fully admit has me perplexed. Maybe someone more versed in Ghost Rider lore can help us out in the comments.
Hasbro Marvel team member Dan Yun has also let fans know which of their request won’t be making into the campaign as a tier.
I’m only stating this here because I’ve already stated it on another place but Danny Ketch isn’t a tier

The Engine of Vengeance campaign will run until October 31, 2022 at 11:59 PM. As of this writing, there are almost 3,500 backers/units sold — not great, but not too shabby for Day 2, either.
