Marvel Legends toy leak reveals IronHeart’s suit in ‘Wakanda Forever’

The Ironheart figure looks good, but will it come with a deluxe/exclusive price point?

On Tuesday, toy reviewer/scooper Todd Ortiz (aka Rektangular) revealed some big news for Marvel movie and toy fans alike. A fellow toy reviewer and friend of Todd’s named Michael Whisman was perusing his local Target when he spotted a Marvel Legends figure that was definitely not supposed to be on the shelves yet.

As you can see, this is our first look at Riri Williams in her Ironheart armor, which she will don for the first time on screen this fall in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Since the figure is not part of the original Wakanda Forever Marvel Legends wave, then it’s likely a single-release Target exclusive.

Going off the pictures from the terrible plastic-free packaging, Ironheart looks pretty cool. I get why some folks are making the Power Rangers complaint/comparison, but the weapons and jetpack (which come with a nice-looking blast effect) help make up for it. Also, it appears we’ll be getting a good Riri alternate head, which you can never be sure about when Hasbro releases a helmeted figure these days. Let’s just hope they don’t use those factors to justify a “deluxe” price point in addition to the exclusive mark up.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever debuts in theaters November 11, 2022.
