Daredevil and Elektra’s relationship changes forever in ‘Daredevil’ #4

Elektra and Daredevil go on a secret mission and may be happier for it.

Daredevil has been excellent under Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checchetto, and the series returns for a new Elektra/Daredevil adventure.

Before the numbering restarted, Daredevil #25 foreshadowed the new-numbered series’ direction. Way back in December 2020, Elektra approached Daredevil with the idea of them becoming king and queen of the Hand. He refused, saying she was a killer and had to prove herself.

I guess Daredevil turned down her first proposal!

Seventeen issues later, it appears she has, and Daredevil is interested. In Daredevil #4, the two must survive a ceremony today.

After an action-packed issue–seriously, go read it right now–the two barely survive but are more bonded than ever, especially after Stick speaks a few ceremonial words.

Yep, that’s confirmation that there’s a new married couple in Marvel Comics. Elektra and Daredevil are now husband and wife! It’s ironic since Daredevil isn’t tied down in the recent She-Hulk episode, but that’s an entirely different universe.

Given Marvel has openly said they want to keep Peter Parker single, how do you feel about Daredevil tying the knot? Will he stay married, or will one of them die before they can have that much-deserved honeymoon?
