On Monday, Joshua Duckworth of GameRant.com exclusively revealed a new Marvel Legends figure of War Machine. This version of the character is adorned with a color scheme he has in the Marvel vs. Capcom video game series.
I’m not a huge War Machine fan and I can’t remember the last time I played one of the Marvel vs. Capcom games. That said, the sculpt and paint on James Rhodes’ armor is beautiful. The figure also comes with alternate hands and a variety of blast effects. One of them even attaches to War Machine’s chest.
It’s a little disappointing that an alternate Rhodey head isn’t included, though.
War Machine will retail for $24.99 (ugh) and is expected to arrive on store shelves in February 2023. It will be going up for preorder from most major retailers on October 18 at 1:00 PM EST.
