For the month of October we’ll be sharing various pieces of underappreciated scary books, comics, movies, and television to help keep you terrified and entertained all the way up to Halloween.

Courtesy of Skybound, AIPT can exclusively reveal the preview for Creepshow #3, out November 23rd. The anthology series features two stories per issue. Creepshow #3 features a story by Francesco Francavilla and L Marlow Francavilla and the second by Ariela Kristantina and Jorge Corona.

First, Francesco Francavilla (Night of the Ghoul, Detective Comics) and L Marlow Francavilla welcome you to a barbershop where the locals share tales of their greatest kills, and the hunters can just as easily become prey. Francesco is additionally on duty for colors, and Pat Brosseau (I HATE THIS PLACE) letters the story.

Then, Ariela Kristantina (Chain) and Jorge Corona (The Me You Love in the Dark) journey to a temple hidden within an island paradise, where many visit, but not everyone leaves. Jean-Francois Beaulieu (INVINCIBLE) colors the story, and Pat Brosseau letters this story as well.

LOS ANGELES 10/27/2022 — Today Skybound revealed a first look at Creepshow #3, the latest issue of the hot new comic book anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment. Creepshow #3 will arrive in comic book shops on November 23, 2022.

In the spirit of all iterations of Creepshow in pop culture, each issue of the Creepshow comic anthology series comes packed with two spine-chilling stories.

First, Francesco Francavilla (Night of the Ghoul, Detective Comics) and L Marlow Francavilla welcome you to a barbershop where the locals share tales of their greatest kills, and the hunters can just as easily become prey. The lineup behind this Creepshow issue joins the first-class roster of creative teams from the worlds of comics, film, television, and beyond working on the anthology, including Chris Burnham (Die! Die! Die!), Paul Dini (Batman: The Animated Series), Stephen Langford (Creepshow TV series), John McCrea (Hitman), David & Maria Lapham (Stray Bullets), Steve Foxe (Razorblades: The Horror Magazine), Erica Henderson (Assassin Nation, Dracula, Motherf**ker), Kyle Starks (I HATE THIS PLACE), Fran Galán (Lucky Devil), Henry Barajas (Helm Greycastle) and Dani (Detective Comics, Coffin Bound), Steve Orlando (Marauders), Marianna Ignazzi (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Clay McLeod Chapman (Scream: Curse of Carnage), and exciting newcomer Anwita Citriya. Brian Witten is overseeing on behalf of Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions.

The Creepshow comic miniseries deal was brokered by Striker Entertainment.

Creepshow #3 (of 5) will be available at comic book shops and digital platforms including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, comiXology, and Google Play on Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
