It’s been years since a Hellboy video game, and today it was announced Hellboy Web of Wyrd is coming to consoles and PC. A release date wasn’t given, but a trailer was revealed showing off a cel-shaded style that’s not to be missed. The game is published by Good Shepherd Entertainment.
So what’s Hellboy Web of Wyrd about?
Hellboy Web of Wyrd is a roguelite action adventure with an original story created in partnership with Dark Horse Comics and creator Mike Mignola. When an agent goes missing, Hellboy investigates. Prepare for monstrous toe-to-toe brawling.

It’s no secret a Hellboy game was likely in the works. Dark Horse inked a deal to create a gaming division in 2021 and then was acquired by Embracer Group later that year. At the time, they also recently bought eight companies in August with a combined value of $313.63 million, including game company CrazyLabs.
