The flood of true crime documentaries have overshadowed the fact there are plenty of other fascinating stories to be told. SXSW has an interesting slate of docs playing that should be at the top of everyone’s list.

As technology advances, it makes all of our lives easier. It also brings added levels of fear. Dealing in real life horror, this documentary dives into the new age threat of deepfake porn. The doc centers on a college student who finds deepfake pornography of herself circulating online and her search for justice.

Black Barbie
