Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is about to make its World Premiere at SXSW. Already one of the most anticipated movies of the first part of the year, each reveal seems to get audiences more excited for the upcoming release. There is already a trailer and clip out, but promotion continues with the release of an international trailer and character posters.
The new D&D movie has no connection to the trilogy that started in 2005 and features an all-star cast. The character posters reveal without a shadow of a doubt what character each actor will be playing. The movie follows a charming thief and his party of unlikely adventurers and they go on an epic heist for an ancient artifact. Along the way, they encounter all types of danger.
Will this be the adaptation that finally shows the world why D&D has remained such a popular franchise for decades? Or will it be another film based on the property that disappoints its loyal fanbase? Based on what has been released so far, it looks like the studio is going all out in trying to provide audiences a great time.
