Marvel Comics has released a teaser for Avengers #3, out July 26th, and the exploits with the Tribulation Event appear to be ongoing. As we saw with June’s Avengers #2, C.F. Villa and Jed MacKay’s new run on the series has the heroes facing a new kind of threat.
The first issue of Avengers hasn’t launched yet, but we know this threat is tied to who (or is it what) Kang faced off against in Timeless #1 back in December. As MacKay said in February, “This is big, loud Avengers stuff—nothing in this story should ever feel small or inconsequential, and our lineup reflects that. Heavy hitters and iconic Avengers are to the fore—The Tribulation Events are coming, and only the Avengers can take them on.”
