Actor Jay Baruschel and comic book writer Van Jensen team up with Dark Horse Comics to present Tear Us Apart with artist Alessandro Micelli. Tear Us Apart is an action-adventure Shakespearean story of teenage love…with enough bloodshed to make Tarantino blush. The four-issue miniseries launches on September 6, 2023.

So what’s Tear Us Apart about?

Deep in the Canadian wilderness, a vicious cult, dedicated to an ideology of pain, trains children to become deadly assassins. In the midst of this world of cruelty, two teenagers break the cardinal rule—by falling in love. The only thing standing between them and happily ever after is an army of murderers with a taste for blood.

'Tear Us Apart'

MILWAUKIE, Ore., (June 20th, 2023)—Legendary actor Jay Baruschel (How to Train Your Dragon, This is the End) and esteemed comic book writer Van Jensen (The Flash, James Bond) team up with Dark Horse Comics to present Tear Us Apart. This new action-adventure miniseries is a Shakespearean story of teenage love…with enough bloodshed to make Tarantino blush. Baruschel and Jensen are joined by illustrator and colorist Alessandro Micelli (The Ballad of Sang) and letterer Taylor Esposito (Batman, Red Sonja).
