Marvel Legends leak: New Disney+ wave revealed

…and it might not be worth getting excited about.

This week, Todd Ortiz (aka Rektangular) revealed a leaked photo from Jaxen Studios of the upcoming Disney+ Marvel Legends wave.

MCU Nick Fury and Talos aren’t shown, which is a shame since those are two figures that most folks (myself included) will definitely want. We also don’t know which version of Goliath will be joining the wave, but Rektangular is fairly certain it’ll be a What If…? animated version of Laurence Fisburne’s portrayal of Bill Foster.

You can probably bank that being case since there are two things you can almost count on when it comes to toy collecting:

  1. Hasbro finding a way to overcharge for things.
  2. Rektangular being right.

While we don’t get a good look at what the figures look like out of the box, Agatha Harkness, Yelena Bolova, and Warrior Gamora look potentially great. Then we get to Kingpin, who should either be lauded for some extraordinary weight loss or put in a neckbrace to support his massively oversized head. Whatever the case Hasbro should be ashamed of trying to make the character with a regular body mold.

As for the Build-A-Figure, we got a much better-looking version of the Hydra Stomper as a deluxe/single figure less than two years ago. Of all the BAF figure possibilities for this wave, the one Hasbro settled on is equal parts baffling and disappointing.
