On Tuesday, Hasbro revealed a long-awaited pair of army builders for their Marvel Legends line. If you’ve been looking for a way to fill out your S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent and Hydra Trooper armies with some female soldiers (that doesn’t involve extensive amounts of customizing), then you’ll be able to start with this great-looking 2-pack.

I can’t be the only one concerned that the price wasn’t mentioned in the press release. Considering how fantastic these figures look (and how few female army builders get made), let’s hope Hasbro doesn’t try to price gouge everyone who’s been wanting this.
In addition to the phenomenal sculpts, the set provides three really nice heads, alternate hands (two sets for the Hydra Trooper and one for the S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent), and two surprisingly good guns. Weapons are always a crapshoot when it they’re part of a franchise that Hasbro has to pay a licensing fee for, so it’s good to see that they didn’t cheap out here.
Let’s just hope the cost hasn’t been passed on to us.
