For most of the first season, My Adventures with Superman follows Clark and Lois’ growing romance story. They meet as interns at the Daily Planet, and through various investigative adventures, they fall in love and get closer to each other. Although their relationship seemed to have moved too fast, it was clear that they didn’t know as much about each other as they would have liked. Lois thought she knew everything about the smart nerd working alongside her until she discovered he was from another planet. While they worked out the issues caused by Clark keeping such a huge secret from her, there was much more than meets the eye.

Lois believes Clark is a great guy just here to help the people of Earth because he’s proved it time and time again. But after the League of Lois Lanes reveal what Clark’s version in alternative universes did to planet Earth, she starts having doubts. What if Clark ends up as evil and destroys Earth as well? Would she be responsible for not stopping him before he causes the end of the world?

Clark also doesn’t know Lois as well as he thought. Despite all his powers and abilities, he had no idea that her father was the General in charge of Task Force X, who was trying to kill him all this time. He didn’t take the news very well, which made for some entertaining TV with Jimmy being caught in the middle during the Thanksgiving dinner. Although Jor-El saves Clark at the end of episode 10, Clark and Lois have yet to sit down and talk about what all these discoveries mean for the future of their relationship. And whether it could be a deal breaker for their future.

While Jimmy Olsen has always been rooting for Clark since the beginning, things could be slightly different when the second season returns. While he doubts Clark and his future on Earth, he is confident that Superman won’t hurt anyone. But only time will tell. On a positive note, his social media account, flamebird, just made him rich. After using it to help Metropolis save Superman during his fight with Dr.Ivo, Flamebird soared in popularity. The Daily Planet offered to buy Flamebird for millions, which could mean fans will see an entirely different version of the character in the next season. Hopefully, it’s not too different because his charisma was a highlight of the first season.

What happens to Clark’s Kryptonian Heritage?

In the My Adventures with Superman finale, Jor-El sacrifices his ship to save Clark Kent by sending him back to Earth. Although it didn’t seem like the two even had a relationship, Jor-El still managed to prove that he would do anything to protect his son. But is this the last time fans will see him? His hologram seems to have been destroyed, but nothing is set in stone in this universe of robotic aliens and super-powered humans.

Fans also didn’t get to see or hear of Clark’s mother, but she could be a key player in the second season if Jor-El is out of the picture. Because he didn’t know much about his Kryptonian heritage, this storyline could be a central plot for the coming season. He needs to learn more about his alien origin for the next time he is exposed to Kryptonite.

With the existence of General Zod, Brainiac, and possibly other Kryptonians, Clark could still get the chance to learn more about his home planet, even though it wouldn’t be how he wanted. With what the General revealed, it could be that Kal-El was sent to conquer Earth, just like General Zod and Brainiac are doing. Could the Kryptonians be world conquerors? Because Joe-El was only speaking to Clark in Kryptonian, it’s almost impossible to know what message he was sending. Still, the tone and delivery confirm it wasn’t childhood memories he was sharing with his son.

How My Adventures with Superman season one Sets up season two

The ending of My Adventures With Superman season one brought up a lot of speculations that fans need answering in season twp. The most important one is what General Zod will do now that he’s found Superman on Earth. At the end of the season finale, Brainiac turns to another robot creature and informs him of what’s happened. The Kryptonian in the helmet didn’t remove it but only said that Earth would eventually kneel. The word “kneel” is familiar to DC fans who’ve heard this line several times from one of Superman’s enemies, General Zod.

The fact that General Zod survived the destruction of Krypton begs the question of whether other Kryptonians also lived, like Clark’s mother. However, this Zod is very different from what fans have seen in Man of Steel, Smallville, and other Superman movies. Zod seems to be leading a mighty army of robots that have already proven to be a deadly match for Clark Kent, who is still trying to understand his Kryptonian heritage and powers. With how surprised he is that his second attempt at an invasion was thwarted, General Zod will be working to get to Kal-El and conquer Earth.

Now that the General, Lois’ father, did not kill Superman when he had the chance, it’s likely that he will also be an enemy to Amanda Waller and her new mission as the leader of Task Force X. Although his redemption arc will be interesting to see in season two, Lois and her family will be in danger. But with Superman on their side, they won’t have much to worry about when it comes to fighting their foes on Earth. My Adventures With Superman season two has already been confirmed.
