Marvel Comics has revealed who the big bad is in Ultimate Spider-Man–after the Kingpin throwdown of issue #6–and it’s none other than Doctor Octopus. We know this from an interior page from Ultimate Spider-Man #5 as well as teaser text. Issue #5 will feature art by David Messina with writing by Jonathan Hickman.
This news comes just days after Ultimate Spider-Man #4 dropped some doozy bits of Spider-Man canon into the new universe. Check out the cover of Ultimate Spider-Man #5 here.
