‘Alien: Black, White & Blood’ set for bloody debut in February 2024

Alien gets Marvel Comics’ ‘Black, White & Red’ treatment this February.

Press Release

Marvel Comics has clearly had great success with their Black, White & Blood anthology series featuring Deadpool, Wolverine, and Carnage, but now it’s time for Aliens to rise as Marvel announces Alien: Black, White & Blood! Launching February 7th, the new anthology series will feature a variety of tales cast in only black, white, and…red! The first issue drops into comic shops on February 7, 2024.

Given the concept, which tends to utilize violent characters that draw blood, it’s fitting the Alien line gets its chance at going full-bloody violent. Now the question is, when does Predator get their chance? Or, for that matter, ROM! Wait, or Planet of the Apes! The Marvel licenses could really exploit the line.

Listen to the latest episode of our weekly comics podcast!

Here’s a rundown of the stories you’ll see in the first issue:

· Superstars Collin Kelly & Jackson Lanzing (Captain America: Sentinel of LibertyGuardians of the Galaxy) and brilliant artist Michael Dowling (Black CatAmazing Spider-Man) kick off “Utopia,” a generations-spanning saga that will be told across all four issues! Soaring through space to find a perfect world, a society descends into darkness as they’re shaped by their fear of the Xenomorphs!

· Fan-favorite writer Ryan Cady (Winter Guard) and Marvel newcomer Devmalya Pramanik explore the limits of compassion in “Maternal Instincts.” On a deep space vessel, a small child is the sole survivor of a Xenomorph slaughter and her only hope for salvation is the ship’s comforting and guiding AI computer unit.

·  Rising stars Stephanie Phillips (Capwolf & the Howling CommandosCosmic Ghost Rider) and Marcelo Ferreira (Moon Knight: City of the Dead) deliver a tale of guts, glory and the most exhilarating of games in “The Hunt.” Xenomorphs become the main attraction when Weyland-Yutani gives wealthy thrill-seekers a chance to hunt down the galaxy’s deadliest species.
