The new variant cover collection will adorn next year’s GIANT-SIZE titles, starting with January’s GIANT-SIZE SPIDER-MAN #1.

Marvel Comics is going ga-ga for variant covers in January–check out the Marvel Trade Card variants, ROM variants, and Homage variants–and today they’ve revealed a new series of covers by David Bardin. Dubbed “Deadly Foes” variant covers, the artist will feature the fiercest foes adorning the Marvel Giant-Size titles. The latter is a 50-year anniversary of the special.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of GIANT-SIZE titles, next year’s GIANT-SIZE comics will honor the epic scale of the original Giant-Size storytelling of the 1970s. From the debut of the all-new, all-different X-Men to the wedding of Scarlet Witch and Vision, GIANT-SIZE was home to some of the most legendary Marvel stories.
