Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: The Return #1 lives up to its title in more ways than one, as one of the franchise’s original stars helps craft a unique tale featuring the teenagers with attitude. In some ways, it feels like the Power Rangers movie some fans have been clamoring for. Either way, the old saying is true: once a Ranger, always a Ranger.

Dark Spaces: Dungeoncontinues to be edge-of-your-seat psychological horror with fantastic visual storytelling. The third issue is an absorbing serial killer mystery.

#3: Ultimate Black Panther #1
Ultimate Black Panther #1 is another excellent entry into the new Ultimate Universe, revamping the world of Wakanda with plenty of political intrigue and new challenges for its titular regent. If you loved the Black Panther movies, the new Ultimate comics, or you’re looking for a great jumping on point this comic has it all. Here’s hoping the next issue keeps up the forward momentum.

Fantastic Four #17 has everything a sci-fi superhero fan could want. It has action, it has trippy ideas, and it has awesome science tying into it all.

#1: Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville #6
Altogether, Fire & Ice: Welcome to Smallville #6 is a perfect conclusion to an all-around perfect miniseries. I can’t wait to see what inspires them next and I hope they continue making waves with their upcoming projects.
