A new Kickstarter is coming this Spring that comics fans might be hungry for called Death of Comics Bookcase, Vol. 1. The comics anthology will feature six stories in a 48-page collection all about killing a comic site… publically.
Headlining the project is Zack Quaintance, former editor of the comicsbookcase.com. “When I stopped running my website a few years back so that I could focus on making comics, the end felt a little abrupt,” Quaintance told me. “Now that I’ve had a chance to hone my storytelling, I figured, why not give the old site a fitting sendoff — a death by comics!”
The project will feature artists Nick Cagnetti, PJ Holden, Luke Horsman, Ryan Lee, Anna Readman, and Pat Skott with colorists Doug Garbark, Dearbhla Kelly, Brad Simpson, Jason Wordie, and Ellie Wright and letters Simon Bowland, Becca Carey, Rob Jones, Shawn Lee, and François Vigneault
