X-Men is hotter than ever, with X-Men ’97 launching today and just last week, Marvel revealing the next era for the X-Men. That era includes three flagship books: Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman on X-Men, Gail Simone and David Marquez on Uncanny X-Men, and Eve L. Ewing and Carmen Carnero on Exceptional X-Men.
With so much heat on these titles, any insights shared by the creators are a huge deal, and today, artist David Marquez shared Gambit costume designs. His series with Gail Simone launches on August 7th.
As you can see, the trenchcoat is back, along with some interesting sectional armor, his iconic staff, and pouches. Oh yes, ’90s pouches are back, baby!
