Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn announces release date and new trailer

Flintlock launches July 18, and you’ll be able to get a taste of the game tomorrow.

Ready your pistol, sharpen your axe, and check your gunpowder stores because you go to war against the gods next month. Flinklock: The Siege of Dawn revealed a July 18 release date today at the Xbox Games Showcase presentation.

You’ll play as Nor as she wages a war against the gods she accidentally set free. She’ll be joined by a mysterious companion and god itself Enki as the pair try to stop the gods from taking over the world. The combat looks to be fast and fluid, with players mixing gunplay, melee attacks, and magic to take down enemies. Enki will also help out in combat by priming enemies for devastating blows.

Flintlock has long been one of my most anticipated games, and eager players like me will be able to test the game out via a Steam demo, available tomorrow.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in addition to being available day one on Xbox and PC Game Pass. A physical deluxe edition for $49.99 will include the game, digital soundtrack, digital artbook, and cosmetic DLC for Nor and Enki.
