SDCC ’24: ‘The Walking Dead: Dead City’ season 2 teaser and casting news

The Walking Dead: Dead City adds four cast members and provides a first look at season two.

The Walking Dead franchise once again took over Hall H during San Diego Comic-Con. During The Walking Dead: Dead City panel, they shared with fans some details into the upcoming second season.

The new season finds Maggie and Negan on opposite sides of the escalating war for control of Manhattan. “As their paths intertwine, they come to see that the way out for both is more complicated and harrowing than they ever imagined.”

In The Walking Dead: Dead City season two teaser video, it seems Negan has returned to his old ways as he wields Lucille once more, or is this change in attitude due to the Dama’s hold over the one time villain. Meanwhile, Maggie’s thoughts on Negan have changed and we hear in her voice over her desire to save him.

Dead City will also receive new cast members. They include:

Keir Gilchrist (Atypical, It Follows), in the role of Benjamin Pierce
Dascha Polanco (Orange Is the New Black, Poker Face), in the role of Major Lucia Narvaez
Jake Weary (Oh, Canada, How to Blow Up a Pipeline), in the role of Christos
Pooya Mohseni (Law & Order: SVU, See You Then), in the role of Roksana

The Walking Dead: Dead City season two will arrive 2025 on AMC.
