Space-western podcast series ‘Midst’ comes to comics

Dive into the cosmos of Midst!

Courtesy of Dark Horse Comics, AIPT can exclusively share the news that Midst is coming to comics. The popular space-western podcast is getting a comic via writer Colin Lorimer, artist Alejandro Aragón, color artist Chris O’Halloran, letterer Jim Campbell, and cover art by William Kirkby. The three-issue series is in collaboration with Third Person, Critical Role, and Dark Horse.

The Midst comics, presented in various one-shots (Midst: Address Unknown and Midst: The Valorous Famer are the only two to have been revealed so far), spinoff from the popular space-Western podcast Midst from Third Person, and now, Critical Role. These new 56 page one-shots explore the cosmos, introduce aspects of the Midst storyverse, and tell the stories of both new and familiar characters.

So what’s Midst about?

Caught between the Un and the Fold sits the islet of Midst…

When their ramshackle postal ship crashes on a mysterious new landmass, siblings Rowan and Ogden have to make the best of it. Adventurous Ogden convinces reluctant Rowan to make a fresh start in the strange new islet that sits between the bright Un and the dark Fold. But Midst holds dangers that will challenge Ogden and Rowan’s family bonds as well as their will to survive.
