While most Dragon Ball fans have had their eyes on Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero and the new anime Dragon Ball Daima releasing next month, Bandai has quietly revealed a 2025 release date for its Dragon Ball MOBA.
Announced last month, Dragon Ball Project: Multi just wrapped up a series of betas. The game’s Twitter account sent out a message thanking the beta’s participants before writing, “The game is planned for official release in 2025.”
Dragon Ball Project: Multi will be available on Apple and Android phones as well as Steam. It’ll feature a roster of at least Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Future Trunks, Android 18, Majin Buu, Zamasu, and Cooler. Players will partake in 4v4 team battles over a prized Dragon Ball.
While traditionally operating in the fighting game space, this isn’t the first time DB has ventured into a genre you might not have expected. Dragon Ball: The Breakers is an asymmetrical multiplayer game that’s still going strong, while Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission is a well-received card game on Switch and PC. The MOBA Project: Multi looks to join their ranks sometime next year.
