Dragon Ball GT characters confirmed for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero

Bandai Namco surprised Dragon Ball fans this morning by revealing Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Super Baby Vegeta 2, and more Dragon Ball GT characters will be included in next month’s Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero.

The trailer, announced yesterday, was originally titled a “super Character Trailer,” implying it might reveal more characters from Dragon Ball Super’s Tournament of Power arc, like Top (God of Destruction) or Super Saiyan Cabba. Instead, we were delightfully surprised with a Dragon Ball GT character trailer, ending speculation as to whether those characters would be included in the base roster or offered later as DLC.

Here are all the GT characters revealed by the trailer:

  • Goku
  • SSJ1 Goku
  • SSJ3 Goku
  • SSJ4 Goku
  • Pan
  • Uub
  • Majuub
  • Baby Vegeta
  • Super Baby Vegeta
  • Super Baby Vegeta 2
  • Super Baby Vegeta (Golden Ape)
  • Syn Shenron
  • Omega Shenron
  • Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta
  • Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta

While covering the first and last sagas of Dragon Ball GT, the trailer didn’t showcase every GT character. Notable omissions are Trunks, Super Android 17, and the other Shenrons. 10 slots still remain on Sparking! Zero’s roster grid, so more GT characters could easily complete the rest of the roster, depending on how many Shenrons the game includes and how deep they want to go with characters like Goten and General Rildo.

Those ten slots could also be used for more Tournament of Power cannon fodder, OG Dragon Ball characters, or Dragon Ball Z movie villains. Thankfully Sparking! Zero releases next month, and we’re sure to know the full roster by then.
