#4: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #7
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #7 isn’t just the start of a new story arc; it’s an action-packed spectacle that delivers physical blows to the Turtles and emotional ones to the readers. It also cements Aaron and Ferrerya as a top-notch creative team, and I have no doubt the duo will continue to make their TMNT run worth picking up in the months to come.

#3: The Seasons #2
The Seasons #2 deepens Rick Remender and Paul Azaceta’s creative universe by expanding its cast of vividly drawn, multifaceted sisters. The narrative artfully shifts from Autumn’s enigmatic, motorcycle-driven quest through realms of moons and mysterious mirrors to Spring’s endearing, relatable struggle against impending danger. This issue continues the series’ masterful blend of high adventure and quiet, personal moments.

#2: Fantastic Four #29
The fact that Ryan North and co. decided to explore a different way to fight back against Doom is what gobsmacked me about this issue. It felt relevant, personal, too real, but hopeful in the end. Issues like this are why I say Ryan North’s Fantastic Four run is something special and what makes the superhero comics medium itself shine.

#1: Absolute Wonder Woman #5
Absolute Wonder Woman #5 continues the series’ trend of delivering an inventive and visually breathtaking take on the Amazonian warrior. With Kelly Thompson’s strong character work and Sherman’s dynamic art, this issue balances action, mythological intrigue, and emotional depth in a way that feels fresh yet true to Diana’s essence. The new lasso twist and the climactic battle add layers to the story while reinforcing Wonder Woman’s identity in the Absolute Universe. This is a must-read for fans who love ambitious reimaginings of their favorite heroes.
