Courtesy of Image Comics and Curt Pires, AIPT can share an exclusive preview of Lost Fantasy, a new ongoing comic book series launching this April. The brand-new video-game-inspired fantasy tale pays homage to the popular game Final Fantasy. The giant-sized Lost Fantasy comics will also feature a serialized backup story, Indigo Children: Exodus, that continues Pires’ hit sci-fi series Indigo Children.
INDIGO CHILDREN: EXODUS serves as both a prequel and a sequel to the original volume of INDIGO CHILDREN which released to multiple sellouts and critical acclaim in 2023. Exodus – tells the origin story of the Indigo Children as well as their journey to earth, before jumping forward in time and revealing the events that unfolded following the startling cliffhanger to volume one of the series.
About Lost Fantasy:
In Lost Fantasy, a magical world lies beneath ours, and first contact was made over a hundred years ago between the two worlds due to a natural disaster, resulting in a schism that allowed monsters to break through. Since then, secret monster slayers, known as The Great Hunters, have been working with global leaders to police the border and to keep our world safe from the creatures that lurk in the shadows. But last night, something broke through, resulting in a mysterious mass killing in Montana, and causing things to shift in a way that will ripple through both worlds. Now it’s up to rookie monster hunter Henry Blackheart to stop it…
Lost Fantasy #1 releases on April 30th, 2025, through Image Comics. Readers can pre-order the book now.
